Why, the highest-quality, most configurable, free web portal that exists, of course! And who would make such a wonderful service?
It’s still in beta form so to speak (but hey, for once Google doesn’t have a “BETA” label on it!), so there are some things that need to be worked out, but my new homepage is live and kickin’. Automatic updating periodically (no more of that nasty automatic refreshing!), complete customizability (click-n-drag), GMail integration, latest movies, news, and all sorts of other things. No doubt this could be enhanced, but I think it’s a great start. It sure beats that default Firefox homepage!
Something else interesting, the folks at the Ajaxian blog made a prediction (and even provided an interesting example of how it might be implemented) that Google would make a “My Google” homepage soon. This prediction was surprisingly accurate. It’s a sign that this is definitely a good blog to read.
Oh yeah, and if you’re thinking Yahoo! can compete, you’re completely wrong. Yahoo!’s page is way too cluttered for me, and if I want to look at comics, I can do that via Bloglines. Besides that, I’m sure Google will implement some sort of RSS news reader in the near future, but if not, we always have Greasemonkey and Firefox, right?

I just made it my homepage– This is great news; I get my google news, weather, gmail and other fun stuff all in a nice and reorderable page; this is another great creation/implimentation from google.
