Jason Kottke made a note about some posts he’d made that were possible candidates for legal controversy. Like a lot of bloggers, myself included, Kottke isn’t an expert on the legal boundaries he must publish within. Since there’s no straightforward law that gives any specification to the boundaries of non-news publishers, Kottke has pointed us to the EFF’s Legal Guide for Bloggers, a FAQ and informational resource to help show you more about your rights (and restrictions) as a personal publisher. It’s very good reading. I suggest anyone who’s a blogger (or wishes to become one) check it out.

That legal guide’s very useful.
