Basically this is a bug-fix update. People have had problems with using this plugin with the default Wordpress theme, so I modified the plugin so it’s compatible. It’s not pretty, but it’s compatible — you can use the thing now.

I am running a test run of Wordpress 2.0, and I wanted to let you know that the current version of speedycat does not show up in the write area. Can you install a test version of 2.0 and update this great plugin please?

Jared, from what I understand Wordpress 2.0 makes my Speedy Cat plugin obsolete, since Wordpress 2.0 already implements a “create new categories while remaining on the write post page” functionality by default.

You are right, there was a plug in that was hosing the post page…

I just asked you the question above, on your June 2005 post. I’ll investigate what’s above, though I don’t see how WP 2.0 allows new category creation on the fly (I probalby need to turn on some option).
