This confuses me since it would appear that the Technorati Weblog is very popular, as the site is very popular. To give you an idea of how shocked I was, let me point out an interesting contrast…

My blog is worth $23,146.14.
How much is your blog worth?
Go ahead, check for yourself. If only I could turn that into real money, I’d be set.
At first I thought, “Well perhaps it’s due to the fact that the Technorati Weblog is part of Technorati and therefore few individuals blog about it.” However, this blog entry is about it, and it looks like many other blog entries are about it, too. Maybe the Technorati Weblog is excluded from the calculation for some reason, since it appears that many other weblogs are allegedly worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Tehe. My web site’s only worth $4,516.32.

How can your blog be $140,570 if I’ve never even heard of it before now?

Jason, Paul’s been a busy guy. A large number of readers of Lifehacker have gotten referred to his site because of his helpful and informative content, so naturally there are a large number of Technorati tags for his site. Hence, his blog’s worth a nice lump sum.

Yay, I didn’t realize my Technorati account was out of date. I updated my account. My blog’s now worth $6,209.94 :)
