Jonathan Fenocchi is a 19-year-old aspiring computer scientist, currently attending Lone Star College-Montgomery (formerly Montgomery College of the North Harris Montgomery County Community College District). His plans for the future include acquiring a bachelor's (and later, master's) degree in computer science, hopefully at the highly accredited Texas A&M college, and managing his own software/web design company (which he is already doing!).
As of late June of 2007 through June, 2008, Jonathan has worked at Starbucks, selling, roasting and freshly delivering coffee to numerous consumers. Having acquired significant knowledge, Jonathan has become an avid coffee drinker and favoring bolder coffees with medium to low acidity, earthy aromas, smooth yet full bodies, and spicy/complex flavors. His favorite coffees are from the Asia/Pacific region where coffees are commonly processed through the semi-washed method in the backyard farms and mills of Indonesia. His experience at Starbucks has reinforced his customer services and relations capabilities, as well as strengthened his articlateness and ability to comprehend and anticipate the needs of others. Jonathan has also gained significant understanding of time management and money management procedures to streamline business and work efficiency. Jonathan respectfully terminated his employment roughly one year after being hired by Starbucks in order to pursue what he is more passionate about than coffee: web development. And that's pretty serious, because Jonathan loves coffee.
Additionally, since mid-April, 2008, Jonathan has been employed by LSC-Montgomery as a Web Specialist. He has gained invaluable experience and learned how large organizations operate. He has been instrumental in the continued maintenance and further development of the college Web site.
Jonathan is interested in networking with friends, through MySpace and Facebook, as well as networking with other professionals via LinkedIn. And of course, you can follow Jona on Twitter and keep track of his bookmarks.
Apart from his professional, hard-working, education- and success-seeking activities, Jonathan enjoys spending time playing video games, playing guitar, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Jonathan is a fierce fanatic of old SNES games (especially Super Metroid, his favorite video game) as well as modern video games like Halo 2 (probably his second favorite game). These days, he mostly plays his Xbox 360, but isn't afraid to go play Playstation or Nintendo Wii games. Jonathan also enjoys playing his Ibanez electric guitar. After taking about a year of lessons (and exchanging the cost of lessons for said Ibanez guitar), Jonathan is an intermediate guitarist. Jonathan listens primarily to modern rock music, but likes a variety of music and is open to nearly anything -- yes, even Ella Fitzgerald and The Ink Spots.
Slightly Remarkable is the product of Jonathan's ingenious mind. It is the location on the Internet where Jonathan governs and resides. It was, for a year or two, simply a blog featuring some designs (nothing short of amazing, not to brag or anything), and some complicated and interesting programs. Now, however, it's become a professional homepage that describes Jonathan and his line of work, and the blog has somewhat stepped out of the limelight, at least for the time being.
